Main Library Hours
Regular Hours:

- Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday 1-5 p.m.
Summer hours:
Library Closes at 5 p.m., Fridays, from the first Friday in July through Labor Day; the Library remains open on Sundays, year-round.

The Perrot Memorial Library, located at 90 Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich, is not a branch of Greenwich Library, but is separate and independent.
Detailed Directions to the Libraries:
Directions to the Main Library
From the New England Thruway (I-95): Take exit 3 (Arch Street). At end of ramp, turn
north, away from Long Island Sound. After traffic light past the RR bridge, take Soundview
Drive uphill to Fieldpoint Road. Take right onto Field Point Road. Stay in the left lane,
curving left after you pass the Town Hall. The road will intersect with the Post Road
(Rte. 1). The Library will be directly across the street, on the right.
From the Merritt Parkway: Take the Lake Avenue exit (Exit 29), and follow signs to
central Greenwich. Go 4.5 miles to the Lake Avenue Circle. At the Circle, take Dearfield
Drive (directly across the circle as you enter it) The Library entrance is on the left as
you approach the traffic light at Rte. 1.
Directions to the Byram Shubert Library
From Central Greenwich: Take exit 2 off the New England Thruway (I-95). Continue on ramp
to traffic light to Delavan Avenue. Take right onto Delavan Avenue. Continue 3 blocks to
Mead Avenue. Turn left into Mead Avenue Library will be visible on your left.
From New York: Take Exit 2, Delavan Avenue. Continue on ramp to traffic light. Take
left onto Delavan Avenue, passing under Thruway to traffic light. Continue on Delavan
Avenue 2 blocks to Mead Avenue. Turn left onto Mead Avenue. The Library will be visible on
your left.
Directions to the Cos Cob Library
From Central Greenwich: Take Exit 4 Indian Field Road off the New England Thruway (I 95).
Turn left off ramp. Drive north on Indian Field Road about one mile to East Putnam Avenue
(Route 1). Take right onto East Putnam Avenue Proceed to the second traffic light. Make
left turn onto Sinawoy Road. Library is on the right, after the Fire House.
From Stamford: Take Exit 4, Indian Field Road, off the New England Thruway (I 95). Turn
right off ramp and proceed as above.
Directions to Perrot Memorial Library
From Greenwich: Take Exit 5 off the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95). At the traffic light,
turn right onto the Boston Post Road (Rt.1). Go to the first traffic light, turn right
onto Sound Beach Avenue. The library is located on the left, opposite Binney Park, just
before the rotary.
