Welcome to Greenwich Library's blog page. These blogs, written by library staff, cover a wide variety of topics.
"Ed's Blog", overseen by librarian Ed Morrissey, features news and links of interest for people with disabilities. It also focuses on some of Ed's favorite subjects; science fiction and horror films and books and, on Fridays, he discusses classic and cult television shows from the 1950's to the present.
"Historically Speaking" highlights historical events and places in Greenwich, and provides information about upcoming events that history buffs may want to attend.
"Musings On Music", written by Peterson Music Librarian David Waring, will focus on musical topics of general interest as well as particular items from the Library's extensive collection. David will draw upon his wide-ranging musical tastes in reviews, lists and reflections on other topics to further your music knowledge.
The Oral History Project blog mines its vast array of interviews to highlight the people, places, and events that have shaped the history of Greenwich or that are playing a role in its present and future.
The "Staff Picks" blog archives all of the past and current entries of the library staff's picks and presents them in an easy to read format. Now you can always find something to read or watch.
"Teen Central" is the place to check out what programs are taking place at the library, see what other teenagers are reading and to share your thoughts about books or whatever is on your mind.
"This Just In" highlights selected new releases that have been recently added to the Greenwich Library collection. Covering a wide variety of formats and genres, the titles featured are chosen for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to, timeliness, local interest, popularity and quality.
