Aspects of the donor/recipient bond will be examined as they relate to different categories of individual donors: your prospects, casual donors, major supporters, board members, and lapsed donors. and service. Content marketing build relationships, creates rich social media presences, enhances search engine results, builds brand recognition and drives traffic and leads.

Joseph Chamie

“Human Trafficking in the 21st Century”

On April 27, migration expert Joseph Chamie will present an inside look at human trafficking, the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, accounting for billions in international trade each year. While undeniably a global phenomenon, the U.S., as one of the world’s leading human trafficking importers, bears a special responsibility to combat this practice. The U.S. and the international community have adopted various treaties and laws to prevent trafficking, but to truly understand and combat the issue they must find the root causes enabling traffickers to exploit millions of victims, such as global migration.

Joseph Chamie is a former Director of the United Nations Population Division and of the Center for Migration Studies, New York and editor of the International Migration Review. He had been with the United Nations in the field of population and development both overseas and in New York for more than a quarter century. He is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a trustee of the Migration Policy Institute.
