Get Personalized Recommendations
Wondering what to read next? Answer a few simple questions and a librarian will follow up within 2-4 days with a personalized reading list that includes at least four titles. You can specify what types of genres you love to read, what books you’ve already read, and what type of format you want to read your recommendations (print, ebook, etc.)

Your favorite books are available to download straight to your mobile device or Kindle for free using your Greenwich Library card and the Libby app.
Read Digital Magazines
Get access to more than 3,500 newspapers, including The Los Angeles Times and New York Post, and thousands of magazines like The New Yorker and Bon Appetit for free using your Greenwich Library card and the Libby app. There are even craft and hobby magazines, in case you want to dive into something new!

- Mango – Step-by-step lessons for 71 languages and ESL lessons for speakers of 21 languages.
- LinkedIn Learning – Choose from thousands of online courses to learn in-demand skills from real-world industry experts.
Research Remotely
Take advantage of databases available through the Library that you can access from home. Browse the full list of databases.
- Historic Greenwich Newspapers – Use your Library card number and use the filters to locate fully digitized images of Greenwich newspapers from 1877-present.
- Consumer Reports – Use your Library card to access product ratings and recommendations.
- JSTOR – This Library database of scholarly journals and academic research has expanded access through June 30 due to library closures. Find 26 archival journals in Public Health, as well as more than 30,000 books through publishers including Yale University Press, Columbia University Press, the African Books Collective, and many more.
- ValueLine – Access leading research publications covering stocks, mutual funds, options, and convertible securities, as well as proprietary special situation stocks.

From audiobooks to wonderful animated storybooks, there are many remote services for kids to stay entertained and learning.
- Hoopla – Animated books that children will love from their favorite authors like Mo Willems and Rosemary Wells.
- Libby – eBooks and eAudiobooks for all ages. Magazines such as National Geographic Kids, Highlights, High Five, The Week Junior, and Disney Girl.
- Kanopy Kids – Educational and enriching videos with developmentally appropriate, age-based ratings from Common Sense Media.
- Tumblebooks – Offers beautifully animated and professionally narrated storybooks, as well as chapter books, graphic novels, non-fiction titles, and educational games and activities for grades K-4.
- TumbleMath – A wide range of authors and math topics all in one place.
- Bookflix – From Scholastic, Bookflix pairs video storybooks with related non-fiction read-along titles. There are activities accompanying each pairing, as well as resources to further explore topics.
- Homework Helpers – Various resources from the Library to help with all of your homework needs, including encyclopedias, biography resources, and more.

- Teen Homework Help – Various resources from the Library to help with all of your homework needs.
- TeenBookCloud – Access graphic novels, ebooks, enhanced novels, classic literature, and National Geographic videos.
- Hoopla – Stream thousands of CDs for free, even from artists like Lizzo, Halsey, the Weeknd, and Post Malone. Also: comics!
