Yes, free wireless Internet access is available inside the Main Library, Byram Shubert, and the Cos Cob library buildings.
Yes, Greenwich Library has 50+ PCs for the public in various areas of the building. These include 7 in the Children’s Room, reserved for children 12 and under, and 5 in Teen Central. Byram Shubert Library has an additional 22 public PCs and Cos Cob Library has 12 public PCs. Advance signup is not required, and a Library card is not needed.
Yes, printers, scanners, and copiers are available at the Libraries.

Yes, Greenwich Library houses individual and group study rooms, plus private phone booths to make phone and video calls.
The Library also houses larger spaces, like the Meeting Room and Berkley Theater, for Greenwich residents and local organizations.

Yes, members of the public at large can attend all events unless restrictions are noted.
Yes! The VHS to DVD Converter is available to digitize home recordings on VHS tapes. This equipment is available by appointment during Library operating hours next to the Reference desk on the first floor. DVDs with a paper sleeve may be purchased at the Reference desk for $1.00.
Patrons are responsible for declaring that all materials used for the transfer or other reproduction on Library’s VHS-DVD converter are in full compliance with all copyright laws and all other applicable laws and regulations.

The Friends of Greenwich Library is a volunteer-based organization that develops and supports programs and services that promote the joy of lifelong learning and discovery at Greenwich Library. Current Committees include The Flinn Gallery, the Performing Arts Committee, Friday Films, The Oral History Project, Children’s Programs, Outreach, Lending Art, and Adopt-a-Shelf.
