What to Read

If you are having trouble selecting a book for the reading activities, our librarians have you covered! Below you will find curated booklists that will check off each of the reading activities in the Bingo card. Just remember the books you read to complete an activity does not have to be from these lists. Both reading or listening to books count for this challenge.

Book Reviews

Shark Heart

This book is great for fans of the New York Times bestseller, Remarkably Bright Creatures. Shark Heart by Emily Habeck brings readers on journey that might sound otherworldly, I mean the basic premise is that the male protagonist turns into a Great White Shark, however beneath that there are layers upon layers about love transcending the impossible, grief, and other universal themes. Pardon my pun, but this book has quite a lot of heart, and I can’t recommend it enough. Habeck is a debut author, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for readers next.

Pick the row you think sounds most fun to do, complete 5 badges in that row, and earn a prize and 1 raffle ticket. And if you really want to challenge yourself, you can complete all 25 badges of the Bingo card and earn 12 raffle tickets. Use your raffle tickets for a chance at three grand prizes. Winners will be announced after the challenge ends on August 2nd!

This year there are three different grand prizes: LEGO Set, Pickleball Set, and an Indoor Garden. Make sure you apply your raffle tickets to your desired prize!
