Suggest a Purchase
The Greenwich Library welcomes purchase suggestions from Greenwich and Perrot Memorial Library cardholders through their Bibliocommons account. Your request will receive serious consideration based on our Collection Development Policy. Patrons with linked cards should place their requests with their home library.
All purchase suggestions must be made in the Library catalog. Here’s how to do so:
- Log in to your Library account.
- Choose the Suggest a Purchase link.
- Once a suggestion is made, you can track your requests and see if your suggestion was purchased.
- If you need assistance creating an account, please call Patron Services at 203-625-6524.
Please check the catalog before placing the request to ensure that we do not already own the title. Items published in the US in the last two years are most often considered for purchase. Submissions can be made for both print and digital items as well as CDs and DVDs. If we purchase your title in a physical format, a hold will be placed for you for pickup at the library location of your choice. For ebooks and eaudiobooks, the cardholder may place a hold by logging in to the vendor platform.
If the Library is not able to purchase your request, you may choose to have the Library attempt to acquire your book through the Interlibrary Loan system.
