Children’s Summer Reading
The theme of this year’s children’s program at Greenwich, Byram Shubert, and Cos Cob Libraries is All Together Now, and it’s filled with reading challenges, events, and boredom-busting activities for kids of all ages. The children’s program will focus on personal, meaningful connections with abstract materials (book and story concepts).
Registration and reading logs are available online through the Beanstack app starting June 12 for students grades K-6. On Beanstack, choose the Library location nearest to you. Log your reading minutes online and complete activities to earn great prizes, including raffle tickets for a chance to win a grand prize when the program ends on August 12.
Prizes vary by Library and readers can sign up to take part in the program at more than one Library.
Preschool children can join in the fun to earn small prizes in the Read-to-Me program, tracking their reading to earn a small prize.
Be sure to check out the Library’s online calendar for fun programs taking place as part of the Summer Reading program.
Teens Summer Reading
Come together with friends and build lifelong meaningful friendships during Greenwich Library’s All Together Now Teen program. Once you register on the Teen Summer Reading Beanstack page, pick up a book, comic, or graphic novel, and join us! Use your Greenwich Library card to try new book genres and formats.

Adult Summer Reading
The Adult program All Together Now is designed to encourage readers 18 and up to read outside their comfort zones this summer. Participants are encouraged to browse book recommendations from Greenwich Librarians for the opportunity to browse specific genres and find worthwhile books that they might not normally come across or check out. Registration links, book recommendations, and more can be found on the Library’s Adult Summer Reading webpage.
The Library has an exciting lineup of virtual events planned for this summer; check out the Library’s online calendar to register!
